Founded in 2008 by the Concept Schools Department of Foreign Language, the Art and Language Festival began as a Turkish-focused cultural event and expanded in 2013 to include Spanish, English, and a broader celebration of global cultures. Since then, students have performed songs, poems, folk dances, and instrumental pieces in multiple languages, with support from language and music teachers, while guest performers representing diverse cultural backgrounds have also taken the stage. Student performers qualify through submitted video auditions reviewed by CS judges, and in addition to live performances, the Festival features a lobby exhibition showcasing award-winning student artwork from the Concept Schools Art Contest, including paintings, photographs, handicrafts, and sculptures.

In order to qualify to perform at the Festival, the participants from our schools need to submit their performance videos, and after a voting period by CS Judges, those who qualified are invited to perform at the Festival day. World language teachers will support their students who are auditioning to perform in Spanish, Turkish, and other languages. Music teachers will support their students who are auditioning to perform instrumental music or vocal music in English.
In addition to the stage performances, there is also an exhibition of K-12 2D artworks from all over Concept Schools. This show takes place in the lobby of the Festival venue during the event.
